Marcie Funkhouser
Background
Marcie grew up in New Hampshire but having lived in the Tiffin area since 1965, Tiffin is where she calls home. Marcie and her husband Bob raised and educated their
four children, Bob, Katrina, Brad and Kendra, in this community.
Experience
* In sales since 1970. Marcie obtained her real estate license in 1979. Since that time, she has been a full-time realtor. She acquired her broker’s license in 1989
and then established Marcie & Associates Realty, Inc. in 1993.
* Again in 2007, Marcie was awarded the President’s Sales Club Award of Achievement from the Ohio Association of REALTORS. She was granted the Award of Achievement,
which held the criteria of $1 million to $2.9 million in sales.
Memberships And Affiliations
* Member of Heartlands (Findlay) and Firelands (Sandusky) Board of Realtors and also a member of both their multi-list systems.
* Director on the Heartland Board of Realtors since 1995, also serving on state and local realtor committees.
* Board member of the Tiffin Area Chamber of Commerce, SIEDC, and Rotary.
* Six years on The Mercy Hospital Foundation Board.
* Member of The Seneca County Convention and Visitors Bureau.
* Member of The Seneca County Revolving Loan Fund Board.
* Director for The Better Business Bureau of Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan.
* Member of the Seneca County Landlord’s Association.
* Marcie has found herself involved in the development of downtown Tiffin as co-owner of The Cornerstone (the old Post Office building/Columbian Annex).
Other Interests
* Marcie's most precious interests include her four children and seven grandchildren!
* Marcie also enjoys knitting, sewing, and reading in her "down" time! |
